The Ellijay

The Barna Log Home model, "The Ellijay", has been designed to allow natural light to fill the house. All first floor windows and doors have transoms, and the second level living areas have clerestory windows. The kitchen is located in the center of the house for easy interaction with family and friends. The First Level has also been designed for handicapped accessibility. The Second Level has a generous loft overlooking the Great Room, and three bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The chimney allows for an inside fireplace in the Great Room and an outside fireplace on the gabled porch. The entire house uses a variety of spaces, textures, and colors.
